Man: Yes, I remember now. In fact, I took your mum to see the film on our first date. We watched it at a small cinema that doesn’t exist anymore…
Girl: Really? I thought you went to a rock concert and then to a fancy French restaurant. You told me about that once.
Man: Ah, that was the time I asked your mum to marry me.

Mum: Oh, you had them on when we went swimming in the morning.
Boy: Yes, and then I remember putting them on the back seat when we were driving here.
Mum: Look! They are in the basket, under the carton of juice!
Boy: Oh! How did they get there?
Mum: No idea, but you’re lucky they’re not broken. Now, get me the sugar from the top shelf, please. It’s on special offer this week.

Girl: Yeah, I’ve actually written a few posts and uploaded some photos, but it’s not as easy as I expected. I asked my brother for help, but he’s been too busy recently.
Boy: Do you want me to give you a hand with it? I can take care of the technical stuff.
Girl: Really? That would be awesome! Thanks a lot!

A group of students from our local primary school have been invited to France to take part in an international drama competition. They are going to perform their adaptation of “Pinocchio”. We really hope they’ll win! Next Saturday between 9 a.m. and 12 noon there will be a picnic at the school. We’ll be selling lots of home-made food. All the money will be used to pay for the trip. Everyone is warmly invited to attend the event!
